Why Carto

The Bearing

Because the record is often wrong and the ground is not. Because a conclusion that bends to whether the deal closes is not a conclusion. Because the building has to serve the use, and the use has to serve the public.

We are full-service, not boutique, because the work spans the transaction and the building and the ground, and a firm that only does one of the three will hand the other two to someone who does not know them. We hold all three, and we close when the lines meet.

We work in metes and bounds, in a state where the deed and the plat govern. We read the record, we verify the ground, and we write the conclusion. The client walks the ground. Carto draws the map. We never invert that.

The Plan
01
Schedule a call

Thirty minutes. You tell us the ground. We ask the questions the record cannot answer.

02
We build the plan

We survey, overlay, and verify. You receive a written plan with the numbers attached.

03
We execute

We move through the work and close when the lines meet and the books reconcile.
